7 Days to a Better You

BY ClubWell

We think one of the best things you can do for yourself is make feeling good a part of your everyday life.

Not just when you’re on vacation, when work finally slows down, or when January rolls around and you feel ready for a fresh start. But in the middle of your actual life, with all the responsibilities, plans, people and many things that ask for your attention.

Because if you’re reading WellWithin, chances are you care about living well. You want to feel good in your body, have a clear mind, make time for the things you love and feel a little more like yourself, even when life gets busy.

Introducing Seven Days to a Better You, a simple, feel-good reset to help you reconnect with yourself, make space for what you need and bring more intention into your everyday life.

No strict rules. No unrealistic routines. No pressure to overhaul your life in a week. Just seven days of choosing yourself, one small thing at a time.

Your Seven-Day Reset

Before you begin, grab your journal, open your notes app or find a quiet 15 minutes in your day. This is your time to think about how you’re feeling and what you want more of in your life right now.

1. Start with your why.

What are you hoping to feel more of? What has been taking up most of your energy lately? What would make your everyday life feel better?

Maybe you want to build a morning routine that feels good instead of immediately reaching for your phone. Maybe you want to move your body more and feel less tired throughout the day. Or maybe you want to make new connections, learn something new or finally make time for something you’ve been putting off.

Your reason doesn’t need to be profound. It just needs to matter to you.

Write it down. Let this be the intention you come back to throughout the week.

2. Choose your seven.

Below, we’ve put together a list of ideas to help you get started. Choose one for each day of the week, based on what you feel you need most right now.

Repeat the same idea more than once, try something new every day or add something of your own. There is no right way to do this.

The only rule? Choose something that feels good to do for yourself and is aligned with your why.

Inspiration for your week

For your mornings

  • Go outside and enjoy natural light before checking your phone.
  • Take a morning walk, even if it’s just around the block, before checking your phone.
  • Book a morning class.
  • Spend ten minutes creating a simple morning routine (no phone, 5-minute gratitude and reflection, skin care, deep breathing) that feels realistic for your life.

For your body

  • Book a skin analysis to better understand your skin and create a plan for its needs.
  • Book a massage and give yourself time to fully unwind.
  • Unplug and spend uninterrupted time in the sauna with intentional breathing.
  • Take a moment to check in with your body. How have you been feeling? How is your energy? What might you need a little more of? Write it down.

For your mind

  • Listen to a podcast about something you’ve been curious to learn more about.
  • Start the book you’ve been meaning to read.
  • Put your phone away for an evening and see what you feel like doing instead.
  • Spend 20 minutes listening to a sound bath at home.
  • Take some time to write down your thoughts on the year so far. What has felt good? What have you learned? What would you like the rest of the year to look like?

For more joy

  • Buy yourself fresh flowers, just because.
  • Plan a solo date and do something you genuinely enjoy.
  • Ask someone new to grab a coffee.
  • Try a new class type with a new instructor.
  • Write a letter to your future self.
  • Do the one task you’ve been putting off. You might be surprised by how good it feels to have it off your mind.

And if something else comes to mind while you’re reading this, add it to the list. These are suggestions, not a checklist to complete.

3. Make a promise to yourself.

Once you’ve chosen your seven, give yourself a moment to plan when you’ll do them. Put them in your calendar, write them in your planner or leave yourself a reminder.

Keep your plans realistic. If you know your Wednesday is packed, choose something that fits into the day you actually have, not the day you wish you had.

The point isn’t to create another list of things you feel behind on. It’s to give yourself something to look forward to.

And when you follow through on a small promise you made to yourself, you begin to build trust in your ability to show up for yourself, too.

A reminder from us

Wellness doesn’t have to be another thing you work hard to achieve.

You don’t need to earn a massage, justify a quiet evening or wait until you’ve finished everything on your to-do list to do something that makes you feel good.

And remember, you can begin this reset whenever you need it. It doesn’t have to be a Monday, the beginning of a new month or January 1st. You can literally start mid-day on a Wednesday, seriously!

Your WellWithin tip: Begin and end with yourself

Before you start, take a few minutes to write down how you’re feeling right now. What is your intention for these seven days? What do you hope to feel more of by the end?

Then write a short note to yourself. It could be a reminder, an intention or simply a few words to yourself in this moment and maybe to your future self as well.

At the end of the week, read what you wrote. Take another moment to check in with yourself. How are you feeling now? What did you enjoy? What made a difference? Is there anything you’d like to carry into the weeks ahead?

Let’s do this together

We’re starting our Seven Days to a Better You reset on Tuesday, October 13, and we’d love for you to join us.

We’ll be checking in with you each day in the WellWithin Broadcast Channel on Instagram, sharing reminders, encouraging you to follow through on your plans and making space to talk about how the week is going.

Think of it as a little extra accountability, a reason to make time for yourself and a community of women who are trying to do the same.

You can start with us on Tuesday or save this reset for a time when you need it most. Come back to it at the start of a new season, after a particularly busy week, in the middle of a hard day or whenever you feel ready to reconnect with yourself.

Because feeling good shouldn’t be something you keep putting off until life gets easier.

Here’s to a week of showing up for yourself, finding joy in the little things and making feeling good a part of everyday life.

We’ll see you in the WellWithin Broadcast Channel. 🤍

With love, ClubWell
